About Me Personally
My name is Amanda Brienza, and I think too much. I'm not sure if there's a 12-step group for that, but I might need one. Seriously, though, as long as I can remember, I've always loved thinking through problems and trying to come up with innovative (or at least workable) solutions. Planning is my first love, and I couldn't be happier than when I'm helping others. I'm a techno-nerd and a Google-groupie. I love all things tech, but I could also pick up a book (or 10) and read for days on end.
In 2009, the idea for 25th Hour Assistants was born in the middle of a round of "reorganization" at the corporation that (at that time) paid my bills. Being my own boss had always held a certain appeal, and I realized that there might be a market for someone like me, who has excellent clerical and administrative skills and an eye for detail, and is generally on the bleeding-edge of new technology. I survived that round, and another after that, but the idea just wouldn't go away.
In 2010, I finally decided to go for it and start my business. So far it's been a crazy ride, and I'm really just getting started. I lost my day job in January 2011, and have been a full-time VA since. I'm loving it!
I just moved from Indiana to sunny, San Diego, CA. It's been a wild and crazy year, but I still love what I do.
