It’s Halloween – you know what that means. Monday we’ll be seeing Christmas trees and holiday displays everywhere. It might seem early for that, but it’s not too early to start thinking about how you can make the holidays easier on yourself this year.
Did you realize that when you work with a Virtual Assistant, you have someone to make sure your holiday cards are ordered on time. That VA can also sign, stuff, seal, stamp and mail your cards for you. (I know how much time that can save cause I’ve done it for several clients in the past.) A VA can research gift ideas and make purchases on your behalf so you’re not stuck shopping in the days leading to Christmas.
A VA can also call your clients and customers to invite them to holiday events or tell them about a seasonal promotion.
If you start thinking about all the things that make your life hectic during the holiday season, think about the things that could be outsourced. You deserve to enjoy the holiday too! Find yourself a VA!
What a great post, Jaime. I am finding more and more of my clients are utilizing my virtual services for exactly these tasks.
I have several of them that are also looking at an online system that I manage that can significantly reduce their cost per card and completely take the handwriting, stuffing, sealing and mailing piece away. http://www.sendoutcards.com/virtual
They are thrilled that for only $1.05 per card (which includes postage) that they can seamlessly send their holiday cards to clients, as well as friends and family. And another great feature is that they can attach a gift to the card if they are sending cards to out of town family and friend.
I love the holidays (I’m an almost Christmas baby), but I hate the hustle & bustle that comes with it. So like Jaime said, consider a VA, it will be the best Christmas present you can give yourself.
Sweet way to send the birthday party pix! Birthday Cupcake! Ho, ho, ho, share some holiday fun in this very merry Christmas scrapbook. Christmas Gift Ideas
I would think that VAs could take the initiative here and market a package for holiday tasks. It would even be a good trial package that would let a client and VA test drive the relationship on a short term project.
That’s a great idea JudyAnn!!
and on top of it all, VA services can be used as a gift – http://www.oneclickva.com/blog/marketing/great-marketing-idea/
What a great idea, JudyAnn, to suggest that we offer this as a package. I’m going to definitely offer it to my current clients and as a holiday special!
I will definitively speak to my customers about this! This is a great ideal, and what a time saver for them!
Funny! I had created my own Card Service Special for just this reason. It is one of the most time consuming tasks that businesses want to do but always gets on their nerves because it takes a lot to finish them all
