Being a virtual assistant has been one of the most amazing jobs I have ever had. It has allowed me the gain knowledge that I never thought that I would gain. It has allowed me to touch peoples lives that I would not had an opportunity to touch, and I have been touched by people that I would have never meet. I have taught myself things that has given me the courage too set out and accomplish other goals. Being a Virtual Assistant has allowed me the opportunity to be a mother to my 2 children, and to be a wife to my husband. It has given me the freedom to take my children to the doctor without begging someone for the time off, it allows my two children to have a summer break, where other children their age have to go to school year around. Being a Virtual Assistant allows me to be an Angel to those who feel like only prayers could help them in the growth of their business.

Virtual assistance was the answer to turning my administrative education and experience into a thriving business venture. I work with clients who truly appreciate me, and who are not afraid to tell me. I do the work I enjoy, in an environment that feeds my soul, and with people who are positive and excited about going to work every day. I develop new skills all the time to keep up with changing technology. I have even discovered that I enjoy speaking in public, something that has always terrified me! I discovered the AssistU Virtual Training Program after being laid off from an administrative job 8 years ago, and started Taylor Made Time in 2003. Now I have a successful business that gives me new opportunities to grow as an individual and as a business owner. Every time I move to a new level of growth in my business I learn new ways to help other business owners. Virtual assistance has opened up a whole world of possibilities for me and for the people I work with.

I love being a Virtual Assistant and being my own boss. Telling my clients when I will have their projects completed and then having the sense of satisfaction and pride when I finish their project on time or before the time they expected it. The Virtual Assistant world has changed my life. I worked in a bricks and mortar job for 30 years. I have worked from home for more than 5 years and I love it and will never (with God's help) go back to the 9:00 - 5:00 grind again.
